New York author Paul Auster will publish the screenplay for his upcoming feature,
“Lulu On The Bridge” with Henry Holt and Faber and Faber. The book will include
the screenplay and essays by Auster and his creative collaborators on the film.
The film just completed principal photography in New York and Dublin, Ireland.
“Lulu” star Harvey Keitel, Mira Sorvino, Gina Gershon and Willem Dafoe, and is
being produced by Redeemable Features, who has an ongoing relationship with Henry
Holt to develop new projects. Auster is making his directorial debut with “Lulu”.
He was the co-director of “Blue In the Face,” with Wayne Wang.
Henry Holt President Michael Nauman said, “I feel that the script for “Lulu On
The Bridge” is one of the finest texts Paul has ever written. As a publisher,
I sadly wish it were a piece of prose. As a movie lover, I look forward to seeing
the film as much as I looked forward to seeing, “The English Patient.”
