New York's New Director's/New Films Series Lineup Set

A host of films from the Sundance Film Festival lead a linuep of 24
feature films set to screen at New York City’s New Directors, New Films
series that begins later this month.

Presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Department of
Film of the Museum of Modern Art
, the series is a coveted screening
venue for new films by emerging filmmakers from around the world. Among the films coming to the series direct from Sundance are number of
Park City award winners, including Julia Loktev’s documentary, “Moment of
Impact
,” Darren Aronofsky’s
pi,” and Chris Eyre’s “Smoke Signals.” Also
on tap after a Sundance screening are Vincent Gallo’s “Buffalo 66,”
Carine Adler’s “Under the Skin,” and Shane Meadows’ “TwentyFourSeven.”

New Directors/New Films runs March 27 – April 12, 1998 at the Museum of
Modern Art in New York City.
