I’ve been invited to participate on a panel at the annual IFP Market in New York. It’ll be a whirlwind few days leading up to it: I return from five days in Toronto, try my best to see Foo Fighters and Weezer, then we have our SXSW Presents premiere and events for that, then I’m gonna try to check out some of QT Fest while also trying to check out some of Cinematexas… and then, I fly out to New York for the Market and my panel. Oh, and did I mention that the Austin City Limits Music Festival weekend begins about 12 hours after I get back to town?
Anyway, the panel at the IFP Market is part of the IFP Festival Bureau program. My panel is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 19, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. My fellow panelists include Caroline Libresco from Sundance and Nancy Buirski from Full Frame as well as our moderator, indie film journalist Matt Ross. Meanwhile, other Festival Bureau speakers include my pal David Kwok from Tribeca, Christoph Terhechte from Berlin, and more.
Get details about the Conference, and maybe I’ll see you there.
