An email from Austin filmmaker Kyle Henry:
“Last Sunday, myself and a group of filmmakers from Austin (Heather Courtney, Susanne Mason and Julie Dervin) went to visit Cindy Sheehan in Crawford, TX, as she waits to meet with President Bush to talk to him about the war and the death of her son… Today, MoveOn is arranging candle light vigils around the country in support of Cindy’s actions. This woman is incredibly courageous and is asking the hard questions that the mainstream media never asks. She is also speaking for many other military family members who have lost loved ones. If you live in Austin, please think of making the drive out to Crawford this week or attending tonight’s vigils to support Cindy and the effort against the war in Iraq. We must, like Cindy, make visible the horrible hidden toll this war is taking. Please do what you can.”
