Fox Searchlight said Tuesday it will donate 10% of its box office proceeds from the opening weekend of “Roll Bounce” to Operation USA for Hurricane Katrina. Also, on Thursday, the night before “Bounce’s” theatrical opening, the arthouse arm of 20th Century Fox will partner with DirecTV to screen the film at more than 80 shelters in the Gulf Coast region.
