Austin’s own Margaret Brown is prepping the Palm Pictures release of her critical and festival (Toronto, SXSW, LAFF, etc.) darling, Be Here To Love Me: A Film About Townes Van Zandt. The documentary, about the legendary and enigmatic singer/songwriter, will open in select cities December 2 and expand to other cities soon after. The film is an artful and poetic exploration of Van Zandt’s personal and public life, featuring interviews with Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and more.
