‘Nip/Tuck’ 3.0 Ends Dec. 20

'Nip/Tuck' 3.0 Ends Dec. 20

Okay, I never really imagined this blog would become a forum for the show Nip/Tuck. But, I guess it could be worse, and die-hard fans of According to Jim could be taking up all the comment space…

With that said, the comments are coming to a boil as speculation mounts on the identity of “The Carver.” Here’s a character to consider: what about Christian’s mom? As played by Kathy Baker, she seems to not only have the M.O., but why else would they introduce her for a few episodes only to have her vanish again from his life? The two prime suspects, Quentin and Matt, are too obvious. But again, the beauty of this series is that you never know how far or how wrong it will go. Meanwhile, “The Carver” has a MySpace profile now. Check it out.

The season finale is Dec. 20, and there’s actually a viewing party (with prize giveaways) scheduled at the Brown Bar in Austin. With all this hoopla, I’m thinking I might show up. Anyway, here are excerpts from some of this week’s comments on my season two finale post:

“Since Christian’s DNA matched the carver I was just guessing he might have a twin. The only way Christian could have the same DNA as someone else is if he had a twin brother (or had a twin brother that had a sex change and now is a female).” – Lara

“What if the carver never gets caught??” – Tasha

“Pay attention people. Meryl the dodgy plastic surgeon is dead. What about Gina? She was with Kimber right before she disappeared and she’s a raging psycho. It could very well be a woman.” -Jen

“I agree the carver may very well be Gina. She has motive and she is a psycho. How convenient the way they brought her back into the fold. Did you notice that Julia was runing De La Mer all by herself. Where was Gina?” – LC

“Well, guys only 15 more days of suspense and guessing until the carver is revealed on Dec.20th
I can’t wait.” – Lara
