The Austin Film Society (of which I’m on the board) is proud to announce that director Quentin Tarantino will host another installment of his ever-popular QT Fest events in town, but now with a new/old spin. Tarantino, in town co-directing Grind House with Robert Rodriguez, will host up his “Best of QT Fest,” a weeklong series of films that will collect some of the favorites from the last six fests.
QT himself is coming back to Austin, and he’s bringing the best of his personal film collection for “The Best of QT Fest.” During the seven-day film festival, he’ll tell you why he loves these wacky, unique and always interesting films and why you should too.
The fest runs April 24-30 at the Alamo Drafthouse Downtown, plus a special outdoor screening on April 25. For more information on the event, and how to attend, visit the official site.
