Tuesday marks the day Nip/Tuck returns for its fourth season. Anyone who keeps up with this blog, knows I’m addicted to the F/X series… a tremendously entertaining look at what lurks underneath our cosmetic life. Can the show recover from last season’s fixed focus on The Carver storyline, now that it’s (more or less) resolved? Early word seems positive, if you believe New York Daily News TV critic David Bianculli’s glowing review of the beginning of season 4:
Even more so than last season, we see an awful lot of Christian’s bare backside. But the best scenes are when we see him naked emotionally, whether with his psychiatrist or with best friend Sean. This year, that’s the core of “Nip/Tuck,” and it starts the season dynamically.
