The organizers of the Austin City Limits Music Festival (the ATX’s answer to Coachella and Bonnaroo) have announced a surprisingly stellar lineup of over 100 artists scheduled to play the 2007 edition of the three-day outdoor festival. Big-name headliners include: Bob Dylan, Bjork, The White Stripes, The Killers, Wilco, Arcade Fire, Muse, My Morning Jacket, Queens of the Stone Age, Bloc Party, and Arctic Monkeys. This year’s event, set again at Zilker Park, will go down September 14 to 16. Other artists on the lineup worth noting, in my opinion, are: M.I.A., Regina Spektor, Ziggy Marley, Spoon, Crowded House, LCD Soundsystem, Steve Earle, The Decemberists, Yo La Tengo, Peter Bjorn and John, The National, Soud Team, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Blonde Redhead, Midlake, Zap Mama… and the list goes on and on.
