Dallas-based psychedelic rock band The Polyphonic Spree, have unveiled a unique music video (with no video whatsoever) for the title track from their upcoming album, The Fragile Army. The piece is a compilation of 2300 still photographs, but this ain’t no slideshow. You have to see it, to see what I mean. Both the song, the “video,” and the band’s new look (colored robes dumped in favor of black military garb) are pretty promising. Behold:
Oh, and yes, that is the Austin Convention Center in the early parts of the clip. Looks like much of this was documented during the band’s recent gigs at SXSW.
Sure enough, this was pulled soon after I posted it. Too bad, but, keep your eyes open for it.
