Jarren’s currently in the middle of taking the Texas State Bar exams. In celebration of her completion, we’re making a dash to L.A. this weekend for a little rest and relaxation. Coincidentally, this will be the same weekend many of our L.A. friends are driving to nearby San Diego, for Comic-Con. I’ve never been, would love to go, but this weekend is about Jarren… and she would probably poke her eyes out if she had to spend an hour at Comic-Con. Because I don’t want her damaging her lovely eyes, I’m just gonna have to settle for reading coverage on various Web sites and other outlets while we’re hanging out in West Hollywood or Santa Monica.
Comic-Con officially begins Wednesday, and Film Threat editor Mark Bell shares his picks for some of the program highlights. Will Paramount dish some “Cloverfield” news? Who is going to play the younger versions of the Star Trek crew, in the upcoming prequel? The world wants to know this, and lots more. If anyone wants to email me their thoughts as Comic-Con goes down, feel free, and I will happily post them on the blog.
UPDATE: Cinematical offers their “12 Questions We Want Answered” at Comic-Con this weekend.
