Here’s another iPOP outtake that won’t make it onto the main indieWIRE site, because we simply have too much new content coming in… Gus Van Sant, Gael Garcia Bernal, Harmony Korine and Diego Luna pose for indieWIRE at Monday night’s IFC dinner. The company is understandly proud of their 8-film festival slate that includes Van Sant’s “Paranoid Park,” Korine’s “Mr. Lonely” (co-starring Luna), and even the latest from Catherine Breillat (she was off camera in a booth with company president Jonathan Sehring). Monday’s relaxing IFC gathering was a great chance to catch up with filmmakers, industry friends, and critics alike, but the best buzz came from a corner table that included Manohla Dargis and a mix of other journos buzzing about the best and worst of the fest so far. All of indieWIRE’s Toronto coverage is available in a special section on the site.
