Snow Storms and Football Fans

Snow Storms and Football Fans

I’m currently on the train from Montreal to Toronto, desperately clinging the hour left on my laptop battery (I left my charger at home in a day-ruining error). I can’t even see out the window, as the snow is intensely coming down. On the walk to the subway this morning to get to the train, I slipped twice onto my ass as the streets are basically ice rinks. What’s more, my train is full of hardcore football fans. I guess all the flights to Toronto for “Grey Cup Weekend” were cancelled (as the man wearing a Winnipeg Blue Bombers jersey across the aisle has informed me), so what is usually a quiet ride will very much not be. Go Blue Bombers!

Update: Apparently half the car is Montreal Alouettes players. I have heard their “cheer” (which sounds like Bonne Fete) five times now.
