Mentors & Mini-Meetings and the Four-Day Film School

Mentors & Mini-Meetings and the Four-Day Film School

At SXSW 2008, Film/Gold/Platinum badgeholders will have access to our annual lineup of panels, workshops, and discussions. Among the most popular, are the Mentor Sessions and Mini-Meetings. We’ve billed this track of panels as our “Four-Day Film School,” with the goal being to highlight current trends and how-to, hands-on advice. For these panels, registrants are asked to sign up the morning of each day to make sure you reserve a slot. They fill up quickly, so act fast once the day starts. Some of these Mentor Sessions and Mini-Meetings include:

SATURDAY, MARCH 8:

What Has the Writers Strike Taught Us?

Do I Really Want to Make My Movie?

Mentor Session: Distributors (Day One)

SUNDAY, MARCH 9:

So You Want to Be an Entertainment Attorney

Contracts & Unions 101

Mentor Session: Festival Programmers

MONDAY, MARCH 10:

Mentor Session: Press/Bloggers

Editing 101

Mentor Session: Distributors (Day Two)

TUESDAY, MARCH 11:
