Happy to see one of my favorite animated short films of all time, Mark Osborne’s More, on YouTube’s Screening Room (courtesy of Wholphin). Mark’s 1999 short had a successful fest run (winning awards at SXSW, Sundance, etc.) and then snagged an Oscar nomination. A few years later, it was edited and reused as a Kenna music video. Mark, meanwhile, went on to direct the cult-hit feature Dropping Out (starring his brother Kent) and this summer co-directed the Dreamworks blockbuster, Kung Fu Panda. See where it all started:
