Arthouse Films To Partner With Sundance Channel

Arthouse Films announced that it has partnered with the Sundance Channel to broadcast a package of films from its current and upcoming slate. The deal was negotiated by David Koh, Lilly Bright, and Stanley Buchthal on behalf of Arthouse Films & Curiously Bright Entertainment and Christian Vesper, SVP Acquisitions and Programming, and Ian Bricke, Senior Director of Acquisitions on behalf of the Sundance Channel.

The package of documentaries include: “Obscene: a Portrait of Barney Rosset & Grove Press,” by Neil Ortenberg and Daniel O’Connor, “Rem Koolhaas: Some Kind of Architect,” by Markus Heidingsfelder & Min Tesch, “Joan Mitchell: Portrait of an Abstract Painter,” by Marion Cajori, “Milton Glaser: To Inform & Delight,” by Wendy Keys, “Painters Painting: New York School – 1940-1970,” by Emile de Antonio, “Agnes Martin: With My Back to the World” by Mary Lance, and “Jack Smith & the Destruction of Atlantis,” by Mary Jordan.

“We are delighted to work with the Sundance Channel again,” David Koh & Lilly Bright said in a statement. “They are among one of our favorite channels. It’s a great home for our films and our filmmakers. They draw the perfect audience for Arthouse Films.”
