Cinemavault has picked up international sales and Canadian distribution rights to Nik Fackler’s “Lovely, Still,” starring Academy Award winners Martin Landau and Ellen Burstyn. The story of an older man who falls in love for the first time during the week before Christmas premiered at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival Film Festival.
Produced by Lars Knudsen and Jay Van Hoy of Parts & Labor, Dana Altman of North Sea Films, and James Lawler, the film is executive produced by Virgil Price of Sterling Productions, Jack Turner of White Buffalo Entertainment, Ian McGloin, Charlie Ledley and Jamie Mai of Strange Loop Entertainment.
With the producers currently in post-production on the new cut, Cinemavault is presenting the film at the European Film Market and will be premiering the final version at the Cannes Film Market.
Cinemavault’s CEO, Nick Stiliadis, VP Acquisitions, Michael Paszt and VP International Distribution, Caroline Stern negotiated the deal with Rena Ronson of the William Morris Agency on behalf of the producers.
