Fest films going digital

Matt Dentler has a post up about some of this week’s fest films, announcing CRM will be pushing them to digital platforms soon:

Sterlin Harjo’s Barking Water follows a successful Sundance premiere in January, with its New York premiere at Lincoln Center’s prestigious New Directors/New Films Festival. The charming road-trip drama screens Saturday, at MoMA in Manhattan.

Sarah Friedland’s Thing With No Name continues its great fest run (LAFF, Woodstock) with screenings this weekend at the Cleveland International Film Festival. Friedland’s powerful documentary screens tonight and tomorrow. The film is also currently available on iTunes and Amazon VOD, via Cinetic.

Robert Greene’s Owning The Weather, meanwhile, launches its festival run with a world premiere at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in North Carolina. Greene’s terrific and downright important documentary will have its world premiere on Friday, April 3.
