The nominees for the Directors Guild of America Award for documentary for 2010 are here and below.
The Oscar frontrunners are DGA nominees Charles Ferguson (Inside Job), Alex Gibney (Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer), Davis Guggenheim (Waiting for Superman) and Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger (Restrepo). The surprise entry is Lixin Fan (Last Train Home), who did not make the Oscar short list of 15.
