she looks hot! Love the costume and the new look! Yeah shorts would have been cool but the essence of the Modern Wonder Woman is still there! The costume has an art deco, ethereal design element to it and Adriannes 40’s style hair is a nod of her 40’s origins as a comic book character! Theyve gone for metallic chestplate and belt just like the modern comic book version of Wonder Woman and not the gold fabric of Lyndas 70’s costume!

Adrianne is gorgeous and i hope the writing of the show works and it does well!

I am still quite disappointed in the costume and believe that any modern depiction of Wonder Woman should either appeal to mythic elements or draw from the modern “kick ass chick” genre for inspiration. I wrote a little about what a Wonder Woman should look like when the costume was initially leaked here: http://cinerati.blogspot.com/2011/03/what-should-television-wonder-woman.html

While the new pants look less like fetish wear than the earlier plastic monstrosities, they still look terrible. It is impossible to look less sexually cheap than the original version of her pants, but now the pants look actually cheap — as in shabby — while the top still maintains a bondage perspective.

Kelley has the ability to write believable and engaging women characters and has done so many times in the past. It is one of the reasons I thought he would be a good match for the character, but the show needs some work on the costuming level. I think rooting the costume in the recent Jim Lee upgrade of the costume is a mistake, but it may also be coming straight from Warners. If so, that would be a shame. You can see that new costume here http://dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2010/06/30/jim-lee-on-wonder-woman’s-new-costume/

Adrienne Palicki needs a bigger cup size to fill out the costume. Also her arms seem flabby. She needs to work out in the gym to develop a little definition in her arms and shoulders. Yo adrienne!!!!

Adrianne Palicki’s Wonder Woman. Yeah maybe but, why mess with something that is timeless?!
Why change the costume in the first place?
WW never wore those idiotic looking pants; shinny or not. She wore S H O R T S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If shorts are not “appropriate” for the Super Heroine, then don’t make it at all.

If one of the most iconic costumes ever doesn’t cut it, then, there’s no telling what else the “PC” Hollywood elite has changed. No thanks!

Geez, are these people even in Hollywood or are their heads so far up their butts that they can’t remember what happened with Superman and Batman when some “costume” director fouled up their original attire?

I’ll wait for the show/movie which will stay close to the original character. Those are the ones who respect the characters and the fans.
