Watch Now - Migrations by Nelson George

Here’s a little something for those of you in a travelling state of mind. At turns mysterious, sophisticated and sinister, Migrations is a feature film by author, director, and self-elected president of urban romances, Nelson George. The film follows a collective of international jet-setting art thieves and is still in production, shooting around the world in locations such as Berlin, Paris, London and New York to start with.

Not much more information on the film at present other than that it should be completed some time next year when, I’m sure, it will hit the festival circuit. In the meantime, here’s a teaser trailer. Call me arty-farty, but I’m sufficiently intrigued thus far to want to see the finished product.

Nelson George made this? Really? I could barely make it to the end of the trailer! What’s he on? This is surprising — disturbing even. Pretentious, indeed. No interest whatsoever!

Yeah just what expected, pure pretension, just like his previous web-series.

Truth Hurts

IT hurts my feelings that people who do not deserve to proclaim themselves as filmmakers are allowed access to the necessary filmmaking tools.

Nelson George needs to get in the producing chair and find/give money to folks who actually know what they’re doing.

Yeah, this looks like a first year student film with all the pre-requisite pretensions and limitations. But, what the Hell, it’s something different, so I’m in.

my mouth is open

because it’s yawning

I’m with you on this Wendy. Highly intriguing!
