Danny Glover Will Make Guest Appearance On USA Network Show "Psych"

If you haven’t seen the USA network show Psych yet, like me, perhaps this Danny Glover news will get you psyched. For the new season, coming in fall, Glover will make a guest appearance on the show.

According to Entertainment Weekly, he’ll play a manager of a minor league team who seeks investigative assistance from Shawn (James Roday) when the team’s hitting coach mysteriously drops dead.

Baseball Hall of Famer and 1996 World Series Champ Wade Boggs will also appear in the episode, as will USA’s own Michael Trucco (Fairly Legal). He will portray a baseball player and childhood hero of Shawn’s who is a suspect in the killing.

Psych is a detective comedy series starring James Roday as Shawn Spencer, a crime consultant who convinces people that he solves cases with psychic abilities. The program also stars Dulé Hill as Shawn’s best friend and reluctant partner Burton “Gus” Guster, as well as Corbin Bernsen as Shawn’s captious father, Henry.

Tamara

please when you get some free time, take a gander at this wonderful show. I own all the seasons. it’s great!!!

AND DANNY GLOVER!?!?! this is going to be great!

they’ve had others cameo. ernie hudson played gus’s father in season two, but they replaced him with keith david in season three (love them both) and of course phylicia rashad stars as gus’s mother.

it’s such a cool, light-hearted, fun, funny show. i love it :)

Well Psych is one of the few shows/movies that I like with a BBF, lol. Probably because Gus/Dule isn’t your typical BBF. He actually has a family, is sexually desirable and even get to shine once and a while. He and Roday are great together.

Looking forward to Mr. Glover’s appearance. Thanks, Cynthia.
