Oddly, Paramount is taking Transformers: Dark of the Moon to Moscow for its world premiere at the 33rd Moscow Film Festival on June 23, followed by a live outdoor performance by Linkin Park in Red Square in celebration of the film. Director Michael Bay will present the film along with his producers and stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Patrick Dempsey, and John Malkovich. Paramount Pictures, Central Partnership and Moscow International Film Festival are delighted to announce that TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON, directed by Michael Bay, will open the 33rd Moscow International Film Festival. Directed by Bay and written by Ehren Kruger, the film is produced by Don Murphy & Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce. The executive producers are Steven Spielberg, Michael Bay, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian The MIFF Opening Gala will take place in Moscow at Pushkinsky Cinema Theater on Thursday, June 23, 2011.
The third installment in this highly anticipated franchise will be presented in Moscow by director Michael Bay, producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce, as well as the film’s stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Patrick Dempsey, and John Malkovich.
