When It Comes To Superhero Movies, Great Minds Think Alike

Well, sometimes they do, that is.

Anyone who’s been reading S & A lately knows that I haven’t exactly been too happy with the way black characters have been treated in this summer’s comic book superhero movies, like X Men: First Class and The Green Lantern.

And you know who else isn’t happy? Why, our old friend and bosom buddy, film critic Armond White. In his latest review of Lantern, which you can read HERE he takes aim at the lack of respect and development that black characters have gotten in this summer’s crop of films.

By the way, I just have to get a photo taken of me looking like White above, all evil, satanic and very Marquis de Sade (my favorite writer…) like.

I wholeheartedly agree and love this article. Nothing but truth.

Finally I can agree with Armond White once again.

“My name is Sergio and Marquis de Sade is my favorite writer! I particularly love his libertine sexuality because we share a bunch of common interests,ie, pornography, depicting bizarre sexual fantasies with an emphasis on violence, criminality, and blasphemy against the Catholic Church. Oh how I love extreme freedom, unrestrained by morality, religion or law”

Damn Sergio, you’re so nasty. I am scared of you. :-)

And I love how Armond White does his thang, although I have not seen The Green Lantern.

I figured you would find this interesting.

Let this be the second time I agree with Mr. White.
