Naomie Harris Signs On For South African Drama "A Green And Quiet River"

Managing to keep herself busy, in the face of recent claims of the lack of employment in the UK for black British actors, Naomie Harris is attached to star in the French production of a drama titled A Green And Quiet River, alongside Peter Sarsgaard, Ciaran Hinds, and others, with Alain Choquart directing, his feature film debut.

The film is based on the literary work of French author Hubert Mingarelli, whom I’m not at all familiar with.

A pitch for the project was apparently made earlier this year at the Berlinale.

Harris will play a character named Estelle, though I have no information on what Estelle’s story is, and where she fits in the whole thing… at least not yet. Once I know, you’ll know.

Fresh off her success in The First Grader, Harris recently signed on to play Moneypenny in the next installment of the James Bond franchise, which stars Daniel Craig as the titular character.

I do not understand if Naomie was white comment. Naomie is British she is not even American yet she is very successful. If you visit IMDB.COM Naomie has an excellent resume she has been in action, drama, science fiction movies. Now Naomie will be in the new James Bond film. I think Naomie is doing great. Keira Knightley is a good actress but I do not think she is more successful than Naomie.

If she were white, she’d be where Kiera Knightley is, now.
Please, let this be a period drama or if not, let her do one in the future.
