But your box office chart has a small mistake: Roadside Attractions has nothing to do with “From Prada To Nada” .
In fact, “From Prada To Nada” was co-released by Lionsgate and Pantelion , with Lionsgate handled the physical distribution.

Anyway, you can regard “From Prada To Nada” as one of the box office winner in first half of 2011. Despite of receiving many terrible reviews, “From Prada To Nada” could still gross $3 million at domestic box office (after opened in 256 theaters), both the CEO and chairman of Pantelion said to medias that the box office performance of “From Prada To Nada” meet their expectation. (Even Universal describe Camilla Belle as the star of “From Prada To Nada” to sell DVDs of “Adrift”)
Films like “From Prada To Nada” and “Chloe” proved that critically-panned niche films could still enjoyed respectful box office
results if they have effective target marketing. (Fox Searchlight tried to do the same with “The Art of Getting By”, but they
could not pull it off.)

On the other hand, Roadside Attractiions opened “Everything Must Go” in 218 theaters. But “Everything Must Go” still couldn’t gross higher than “From Prada To Nada”, even though “Everything Must Go” have bigger star power and much more positive reviews than “From Prada To Nada”.
