Exclusive! Chi McBride Candidly On The Industry, His Craft & "Pretentious Artist Bullshit" Actors

This week I had a chat with actor, Chi McBride of the film The Family Tree. The film also stars Evan Ross.

During our chat Chi candidly discussed why he was drawn to the script and his views on the movie industry and “pretentious” actors. We even shared a few laughs between us.

The Family Tree opened yesterday in theaters across the U.S. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this fascinating conversation. You can listen below or download the podcast HERE. Enjoy!

Really Chi, this is the same man who could not see The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer was a bad idea… and I saw the clip of the Family Tree seems he hasn’t learned much. Chi is real bitter still over the protest over the dumb show. Still can’t stand him..

Like what he has to say. Especially about Black film. It’s about getting it out there and the politics (networking) that is needed to get it to happened. Love the pragmatism.

Straight No Chaser

Love him, he’s so honest. I wish more actors were like him.

Lee Johnson
