Steve Harvey Entering Daytime Talk Show Race With NBC

Well, I guess with Oprah Winfrey gone, it’s anybody’s crown to wear, and the race is on.

Now Steve Harvey is reportedly getting into the daytime talk show game for NBC, to launch in the fall on 2012.

What will his specific focus, if any, be? I dunno… but since he somehow wiggled his way into his current position (one of many) as a relationship guru, I suppose we could assume he’ll remain on what has been very fertile ground for him thus far.

A preview trailer of a the adaptation of his best-seller Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man, was shown at his Hoodie Awards ceremony last weekend, so I expect that it’ll find its way online sometime soon, I hope, so we can all check it out and get an idea of what to expect.

This man looks like a penis with eyes and a mustache , why does anyone take him seriously? All the women who read his book like they are studying for finals will make his show a hit, too.

Adam Scott Thompson

Tentative title: “Investigative Cooning with Steve Harvey.”

Just kidding! LOL

Although, I do expect a cross between “Frontline” and “The Mo’Nique Show.”

@ Gerarld Is that you Steve? lol.

@afrostyling You sound real stupid! You may disagree with him, but wishing failure on someone who is out there grinding while you sit back and type on a blog is very low of you.

Will he give relationship advice? Will it be like his radio show? Will Nephew Tommie co-host.

Inquiring minds want to know?

NOT interested.

I hope it fails BIG TIME!

Oh nooooooooooo!!

That would be a first though – a black man with a daytime talk show on relationships and life. I’d rather they get Phil Donahue back.

The show probably won’t last a second but I’ll bet Steve’ll get smacked, punched, re-wigged, and de-wigged. That may make it worth my while to watch.

Oooh! Or it could be like that black men’s relationship talk show they air on TV One. Black men talking to Black men. I’d watch that if for no other reason than to see black guys air their dirty laundry nationwide.

I don’t know about this one, but if it is meant to be, It will be.
