My idea of a good time is watching a Boston Red Sox/New York Yankee game, especially as the Yanks keep winning (they cinched the Eastern playoff spot) and the Sox keep losing. Lo and behold if John Krasinski and Alec Baldwin don’t pop up during a recent game with the hilarious spot below. Adweek has more details and more spots in the series here.
New Era, which makes the official MLB baseball caps, went along with The Brooklyn Brothers ad agency’s suggestion of a series of 60-second spots dealing with the long-term rivalry between the Yanks and Red Sox, to run during the teams’ six series between April and September. They started with Red Sox fan Krasinski, who brought in Yanks afficionado Baldwin to co-star in the spots, shot by Bryan Buckley in black-and-white. Krasinski worked on the script with Office writers Charlie Grandy and Mike Schur.
