Morris Chesnut’s name is one I haven’t heard much of later; scanning his IMDB resume… the last time he appeared on any screen was in ABC’s re-imagining of the 1983 sci-fi miniseries V , which was cancelled in May this year. He was on it for the 2 seasons it aired.
He hasn’t appeared on the big screen since 2009’s Not Easily Broken, opposite Taraji P. Henson.
Chestnut appears to be getting back into the swing of things, as he has signed on to appear in the FX network’s new upcoming drama American Horror Story, for a major multi-episode arc.
He’ll play a character named “Luke” in the series which debuts on October 5th, and will star Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton as “a married couple who move into an older Los Angeles home with a haunted history.”
No word on how Chestnut’s “Luke” character will be involved in the series’ story.
