Contemporary Cinema from Quebec Series Coming to FIAF

The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) will celebrate contemporary cinema from Quebec with their new Cinéma Tuesdays series, New Cinéma Québecois. In collaboration with the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal, the series will feature 8 films.

The series begins November 1 and concludes November 29. Highlights include Xavier Dolan’s “Heartbeats,” winner of the Regards Jeunes Prize at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, as well as Q&A’s with the directors following the screenings of “Curling,” “It Is Nothing” and “Jo pour Jonathan.”
