Vote For The Gotham Audience Award

Vote For The Gotham Audience Award

Six of the seven competitive categories at 21st Gotham Independent Film Award had their nominations announced this morning check out the full list of nominees here), but you can help them come up with the seventh: The Audience Award.

Beginning today, vote for what ends up making the cut. To be eligible, a U.S. film must have won an audience award at one of the top 50 U.S. or Canadian film festivals from November 2010 through October 2011. The nominees will be announced November 7th and the winner will be revealed at the Gotham Awards ceremony.

Among the candidates are a very worthy batch of films including “Attack The Block,” “Being Elmo,” “Buck,” “Circumstance,” “Kumare,” “Natural Selection,” “Pariah” and “We Were Here” (though it says “a U.S. film” which confuses me re: “Block”). Vote here.
