Yahoo News & ABC Team Up for Content Sharing, People.com Relaunches Caught in the Act

-Yahoo News and ABC News have formed a partnership to share stories and feature web video. ABC’s “Good Morning America” announced this alliance, which they called a “game changer,” early this morning. Yahoo News boasts the most unique visitors of all news Web sites; The NYT reports that each will have editorial independence but will share content and co-produce coverage of some news events.

All Things Digital reports that the Huffington Post just announced that they reached a billion page views for the month of August and plans more hires and expansions.

-People.com, which boasts the most traffic of any magazine website, has launched its popular “Caught in the Act” feature with added social features and location-based additions. According to MinOnline, the section, which boosts a billion page-views per month, features celebrity sightings that will allow people to pinpoint celebrity locations, or filter according to theme like dining, nightlife, fitness.
