Here's A Chance To Help "Brother's Keeper" (Fundraising)

Tennessee native Robert L. Poole is about to embark on production of  Brother’s Keeper, his thesis film in the Columbia University graduate film program, and he needs your help.  He’s raised a portion of his funds but still needs more.

A description for this coming of age film reads…”When an inner-city high school prodigy finds himself ineligible for a vital college scholarship, his last resort is to hold court with a secret group of the city’s most influential men. While approval from this exclusive club would no-doubt guarantee free admission to any college of Tim’s choosing, it will come at the cost of a brutal initiation.”

He’s looking to raise $15,000 to cover vehicles, drivers, locations, insurance, food, stunt coordinators, flights, and lodging.

As he states on his Indiegogo page…”My goal is to create a film that is entertaining, thought-provoking, and moving. Hard work and dedication will certainly help achieve these goals, but increased production value will go a long way to polish the underlying craft.”

Marco Bolo

Bolo here, I wonder if this film will be a modern day take on Ellison's Invisible Man. It has all the potential based on the premise, it would be dope if the initiation was a battle royal. If this film indeed a is inspired by IM, then this project will be special!
