Watch Trailer For Hostage Thriller "Special Forces" Co-starring Djimon Hounsou

Here's a look at the new hostage thriller Special Forces.  The film stars Dianne Kruger (Inglorious Basterds) as a French journalist in Afghanistan who is kidnapped by the Taliban.  Faced with her imminent execution, a Special Forces unit is dispatched to free her.

The film co-stars Djimon Hounsou, Benoit Magimel and Denis Menochet.

Stephane Rybojad directed the production which was just released in France.  No word yet on when the film hits stateside.

the movie is a huge disappointment
I went to see it hoping that the french will probably come up with a more realistic view of the war in Afghanistan or the country itself.
Disappointment on every count as they tried to make a bad version of Rambo….
Terrible script, bad editing and Diane Kruger is a terribly flat

@Staff: You spelled "Inglourious" incorrectly.

Denis Menochet gave a great performance opposite Christoph Waltz in 2009. The film looks promising, but I hope Special Forces doesn't become another of these projects promoted on this site when the actor of color only has 5 lines in the 2 hour movie.

Geneva Girl

It's nice to see Djimon Hounsou perform in French. I'm just curious about the closing shot. Out of all of the Special Forces who were sent to rescue the journalist, was that all that survived? Was it worth it for her?
