I watched a number of movies in this festival and they all rocked! The diversity of directors, subject matter and geography as well as the depth of the issues portrayed were unparalleled. Its amazing to me that films of such caliber don't stand a chance of making it into the mainstream.

I hope ADIFF gains more visibility and secures its place on the high table of global film festivals. The organizers should be commended for an outstanding job.

I, too, am looking for a way to see black independent films. How can those of us at colleges and universities support a tour of these films or a tour of the festival?

Is there any place online – not bootleg nor pirate downloading – where I can view African films? I like this site. I see a lot about movie premieres, but maybe I missed the links where I can access the films from some vendor like Netflix or something.
