Clint Eastwood's Wife And Kids To Shoot Reality Show For "E!" Network

Legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood’s family– wife Dina, and daughters Morgan and Francesca— are said to be shooting a reality show for the E! network, according to TMZ.

Dina Eastwood– who is of African-American, Japanese, Irish, English, and German descent– married Clint in 1996.  They share a child in Morgan; Francesca is Clint’s child from a previous relationship.

Sources connected to the production tell TMZ … the show will explore what it’s like to live in a family of “Hollywood royalty.”  It will focus on the relationship between Clint’s wife Dina Eastwood, their daughter Morgan and Clint’s 18-year-old daughter Francesca … an aspiring actress.

The show is being produced by reality powerhouse Bunim/Murray — the same people who produce all of the Kardashian reality shows … along with “The Real World” and “Bad Girls Club.”

We’re told 81-year-old Clint has agreed to make a couple of cameos — but will not be a main character on the show. [TMZ]

One word: TACKY. Now off to find Spike Lee's comments because I haven't heard about them – and maybe that shows how inconsequential they were.

I never implied that having a black wife exonerates him of anything; you made the unfounded assumption. I brought up the Eastwood/Lee scuffle because it would seem the only time to examine it, unless you know of a film with black leads that Clint is purportedly directing. Lee has gotten it right on a couple of issues, but not always. Whether Spike (and the media ) overreacted is debatable, being that there were statements he made were false and incendiary. Filmmakers are notorious for their flameouts on each other, including an epic one between Kevin Smith & Tim Burton. However, that doesn't mean a new project like this reality show makes the discussion go away.

Yeah, I never understood why black people jumped on Clint for being a racist. Stop listening to Spike Lee…he's just a director, not Moses!
