Empire Polls Actors' 2011 Faves with Surprising Results

I love the choices made by a gaggle of actors polled by Empire Magazine for their fave films of 2011.  “Jane Eyre” and “Take Shelter” were on my ten best list, and ‘Attack the Block” made my top 20.  Here’s a sample of some must-see, often offbeat films. I will have to check out “The Adopted.”

Danny DeVito: “Attack the Block”
Zack Efron: “The Skin I Live In”
Ed Helms: “Anonymous”
Emma Stone: “Bridesmaids”
Robin Williams: “Take Shelter”
Joe Carnahan: “The Tree of Life”
Paula Patton: “Jane Eyre”
Patton Oswalt” “The Tree of Life”and “Bellflower”
Scarlett Johansson: “The Adopted” (France) directed by Melanie Laurent

The Adopted doesn't represent French films, besides Melanie Laurent shares the similary youth and pop star identity with this Hollywood young actress, thus hope she could pick other films francais. Zac Efron's taste is mature. Robbin Williams is always awesome. Emma Stone could star in younger version of Bridesmaids. Paula Patton's taste is interesting. I like Patton Oswalt but don't share common taste since I have watched Bellflower and agree it's a cool film.

Never would have guessed Efron's pick. Interesting.
