First Posters Arrive for "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" Co-Starring Anthony Mackie

The Fox film production Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter released a first set of posters (distinct backdrops) a few days ago; which gives us a first look at Abraham Lincoln, played by Benjamin Walker. The film by Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov, as most of you our aware by now, co-stars Anthony Mackie as William H. Johnson, Abe Lincoln’s best friend (BBF), and Jacqueline Fleming in the role of Harriet Tubman.

To recap, the synopsis reads, “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter explores the secret life of our greatest President, and the untold story that shaped our nation. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted) bring a fresh and visceral voice to the blood-thirsty lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history’s greatest hunter of the undead.”

The film, based on the novel by the same name, and adapted to the screen from a script penned by Seth Grahame-Smith, hits theaters June 22, 2012.
