Early this morning reports surfaced that the female-driven comedy "For A Good Time, Call…" was bought by Focus Features.
First-time feature director Jamie Travis has confirmed the sale via Twitter: “Sold to Focus Features! The best place for our film,” he typed through his @JamieTravis handle.
The movie follows college “frenemies” Lauren and Katie who move in together and form a bond after Lauren discovers Katie's dirty secret and decide to launch an unconventional business venture. Katie Anne Naylon and Lauren Anne Miller star.
Focus took worldwide rights for a reported $2 million. The deal was put together by Cinetic and Studio City Partners.
