CaribbeanTales Youth Film Festival and TIFF join forces to celebrate Black History Month with a fundraising Gala recognizing 50 years of independence for Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago, and 2 screenings of Storm Saulter’s stunning award-winning feature film Better Mus Come.
The events are part of TIFF’s Black History Month Screening Series entitled “Music, Magic, Clash: New Voices in the African Diaspora“.
On Saturday February 4 at noon, the celebration kicks off with a VIP Gala and Screening.
Enjoy a scrumptious Caribbean brunch, and join TIFF’s Cameron Bailey for the Canadian premiere of Better Mus Come at 2:00pm, followed by a talk back with filmmaker Storm Saulter.
Price $50 (includes Brunch, Awards Ceremony, and VIP screening of movie).
On Sunday February 5 at 3:45pm, there will be a special youth and community screening of Better Mus Come at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. Tickets are $15.
