Sundance 2012 – Official Poster For Terence Nance’s “An Oversimplification of Her Beauty”

Sundance 2012 - Official Poster For Terence Nance's "An Oversimplification of Her Beauty"

Here's the official poster for Terence Nance's An Oversimplification of Her Beauty, which will make its world premiere screening in the New Frontier section at the Sundance Film Festival, which got underway today.

The synopsis for An Oversimplification of Her Beauty reads like this:

A quixotic young man humorously courses live action and various animated landscapes as he tries to understand himself after a mystery girl stands him up.

By the way, Terence himself stars as the "quixotic young man," along with Namik Minter, and Chanelle Pearson.

I will be at Sundance (leaving early tomorrow), so this, as well as all the other films I've profiled, will certainly be on my short list of films to see.

The colorful poster (which immediately made me think of Wangechi Mutu's collage work – at least, from the neck up) follows immediately below (courtesy of FSJ); and you'll find the trailer underneath if you haven't already seen it:
