Oscar Nominees Talk Favorite Movie Moments: 'Network,' 'Sound of Music,' 'Wizard of Oz,' Brando

Check out Oscar’s acting nominees talking about their favorite movie moments here, and in the mashup below. So what movies do the stars love? “The Wizard of Oz” is what inspired Jessica Chastain to be a part of movie  magic; Jean Dujardin notes Kevin Kline dancing in “In & Out” and Jeff Bridges in “The Fisher King”; Jonah Hill loves “Goodfellas”; “Network” is the favorite of both George Clooney and Viola Davis.

For Rooney Mara it’s “Paper Moon,” and it was while watching Christopher Plummer singing in “The Sound of Music” that Janet McTeer fell in love with the actor (he loves the great French films, like those by Jean Renoir); “I’ve been in love with him ever since.” Max von Sydow notes Spencer Tracy, Errol Flynn and: “Marlon Brando, of course, changed everything for everybody.”
