Celebrate Women's History Month by Watching These Docs Online (March Only!)

In celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, ITVS is offering a special chance to wach ten documentary films online as part of the Women and Girls Lead Online Film Festival, during the month of March only.

The films, which are said to showcase “extraordinary women and girls on the front lines of change throughout the world,” include Sharon La Cruise’s Daisy Bates: First Lady of Little Rock, about the woman who led the charge to de-segregate Central High School in 1957 Little Rock, AR, Byron Hurt‘s look at hip hop and misogyny, Hip Hop: Beyond Beats and Rhymes, and Beth Davenport and Elizabeth Mandel’s Pushing the Elephant, examining violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Some of the films have aired previously on PBS and others appear to be new to the lineup, so catch them all online while you can. For the complete lineup of films, and to watch, visit ITVS.
