Watch Samuel L. Jackson in Trailer For Suspense Thriller "Meeting Evil" (On VOD May 4th)

This is the first time hearing of this project. Meeting Evil, directed by Chris Fisher and adapted from the Thomas Berger noir-thriller novel by the same name. The film stars Samuel L. Jackson as a mysterious stranger named Richie, who takes a family man, played by Luke Wilson, on a "murder-fueled ride."

Full synopsis:

Follows disillusioned young family man John as a mysterious stranger, Richie takes him on a murder-fueled ride that transforms the weak-willed John into a desperate hero willing to go to any length to protect his family.

I feel like we've seen this Sam L. Jackson character in many of his films before.

Meeting Evil is available on VOD May 4th.

I am the kind of guy who feels that I can't go wrong with Samuel Jackson. Granted his roles and his characters can be one in the same but he always brings something entertaining. For instance I told Donella that I was planning on watching him in Kasi Lemmon's The Caveman's Valentine. Well, I watched it last night. Short review: I believe Kasi tried to do a little too much with that film. In the wake of that Samuel "lost" his charater on a number of occasions, or at the very least his character became unbelievable. Nevertheless, Samuel was entertaining as a troubled schizophrenic Juilliard drop-out who lived in a cave. Yeah, he was all over the place in this role. He even had a sex scene with a white chick :-). But again, he always leaves me satisfied. Wait, I can't think of the name to this movie… but in one film his head got bit off in an early scene? I wasn't to thrilled about that :-(
