Recall our announcement that CBS has green-lit the still-untitled comedy starring Martin Lawrence. We last told you about Regina Hall joining the cast as Lisa, described as "a cute, perky police officer and type – A perfectionist who takes an immediate shine to Ray."
To recap, the pilot, created by Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger, will star Lawrence as Ty, "a widowed father of two teenagers who, after losing his job in construction, decides to go to the police academy and become a cop at the age of 46."
According to Deadline, John Amos and Sydney Park (Baby Daddy) have also been added. Amos will play Captain Lorenzo, "Ty’s commanding officer, an erudite, antique-collecting family man who is very tough and no-nonsense under his deceptively calm demeanor."
Park is slated to play Kim, Ty's 16-year old daughter. Actor Ethan Suplee rounds up the cast as Travis, Ty's "earnest, exuberant, straight-shooter" new partner.
