"Ruthless crime-lord" and "Terrence Howard" paired together may take some time to sink in for some" …Huh?

If it's one thing Terrence does extremely well is playing a villain. Definitely looking forward to this one

Well Tambay, we've seen Terrence Hustle & Flow his way to an Oscar nod, and he was ruthless in Idlewild, so hey, ruthless crime-lord Alphonse Hoyt is par for the course. Come to think off it, can't you smell it? Okay look… a rookie cop works with a rogue detective who isn't what he appears. Okay, change a few names, and job titles, and BAM, Ethan Hawke = Colin Farrell, and Denzell = Terrence! BINGO… it sunk in, Training Day 2012. The white guy jacks the big bad black man. OSCAR TIME for Dead Man Down.

I buy it. Word is he's vicious with them wetnaps.
