New Images Of The Cast Of Sofia Coppola's 'The Bling Ring' Starring Emma Watson

Update: EW has another new pic from "The Bling Ring"

While the Cannes Film Festival may be the place where the finest auteurs from around the world come to unveil their latest offerings, the other side of the fest is the robust market where distributors and producers hawk their wares to buyers, hoping to sell foreign rights for their pictures. In order to help get contracts drawn up and cheques signed, clips or entire movies may be shown, but if those things aren't ready, sometimes a still photo will have to suffice.

And it seems somewhere in the vast Cannes market (we nearly got lost in the labyrinth-like set-up in the basement of the Palais), the first official look at the cast of Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring" was unveiled. We've already seen numerous set photos but this is the first with the gang of teenage thieves all paired up together. Emma Watson leads the cast in the based-on-a-true-story tale of about a group of affluent teenagers who pulled off some brazen heists of celebrity homes, including those of Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Megan Fox and Orlando Bloom, taking up to $3 million worth of goods.

The cast is mostly rounded out by up-and-comers including Israel Broussard, Katie Chang, Claire Pfister, Georgia Rock and Carlos Miranda, with Leslie Mann also on board and Paris Hilton, Kirsten Dunst and Gavin Rossdale having filmed cameos. Lensing took place earlier this year, but no word on a release date. But if Coppola can cut it in time, perhaps an appearance on the fall festival circuit isn't out of the question? We'll soon see. [I Heart Watson via CulturExpressO]

I love Taissa Farmiga,! ♥

Um, the first girl is Taissa Farmiga, not Georgia. At least research these things before you write.

Sexy and the City: First Class

So I looked up the bling ring and it seems that Hollywood has once again white-washed the cast. Why am I not surprised?

You forget to mention the younger (more amazing) farmiga.
