Robert Redford Collaborator Joe Ricketts Plans Racist Anti-Obama Ad Blitz

What must Robert Redford be thinking? On his last film, “The Conspirator,” the famous liberal film pioneer partnered with Ameritrade founder Joe Ricketts to bring the story of the assassination plot against Abraham Lincoln and the subsequent court hearings to the big screen. At the Toronto International Film Festival premiere, Redford gave his biggest thanks of the evening to Ricketts: “None of this would have been possible without the support, spiritually and financially, from Joe Ricketts,” he said. But now Rickets, the New York Times is reporting, is behind a major plan to bring down President Obama with a racist media blitz.

According to the Times, the plan is titled “The Defeat of Barack Hussein Obama: The Ricketts Plan to End His Spending for Good.”

“Our plan is to do exactly what John McCain would not let us do,” the proposal states. “Show the world how Barack Obama’s opinions of America and the world were formed. And why the influence of that misguided mentor [Jeremiah Wright] and our president’s formative years among left-wing intellectuals has brought our country to its knees.”

“The plan is designed for maximum impact, far beyond a typical $10 million television advertising campaign,” reports the Times. “It calls for full-page newspaper advertisements featuring a comment Mr. Wright made the Sunday after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. ‘America’s chickens are coming home to roost,’ he said.”

Strangely, “The Conspirator” comes across as a somewhat progressive film in its depiction of a country concerned with internal subversion and military tribunals whose constitutionality and fairness is debated.

But the recent news suggests that Ricketts politics are far from Redford’s. I wonder who in Hollywood will direct Ricketts’ next historical story. Maybe Tea Party filmmaker Stephen Bannon.

Well this is not surprising – his alliance with Rickets. Mr. Redford was in Rosarito Beach for the past two months filming a new film which stars – him. He came here with his own entourage of private security, in addition to being "watched over" by the Mexican law enforcement. He filmed at the Fox studios which is right next to the biggest dope and human smuggling port (Popotla). Of course, we all know these rings are run by organized crime, and we all know how the migrants are abused, raped, murdered or extorted – many times left out at sea to perish. While he was here, we had a confrontation between the Mexican Army and the Municipal Police, at least four executions, one attempted execution right in front of Calimax on Benito Juarez where there were not only children in the vehicle which was attacked, but there was moderate foot and vehicle traffic. The Mayor of Rosarito Beach just got rid of Police Chief Magdaleno(who really was a square guy) and appointed a new chief who worked under Jorge Hank Rohn, when he was Mayor of Tijuana. Zeta Magazine and Rosarito en la Noticia just covered the Mayor Robles corrupt regime, not to mention that one of his bodyguards has an extended criminal record in the United States. Not to mention the enormous quantities of dope which have been seized (not by the Municipals god knows – but by the Mexican Army) – this is a dope town and it is run by the Sinaloa cartel. Many of the Mexican ranchers have united against the pollutants coming from Tijuana and being dumped into the ocean. Being such a great environmentalist, I am surprised Mr. Redford did not meet with these concerned citizens.

Instead, he made a film for cheap, starring him and left stating our area was safe and he decried anyone who is even talking about the true conditions here — yet, I just read where he supported documentaries because they according to him were the only true versions of the news we receive.

Worse yet, this entire charade was backed by Tijuana Innovadora — who have already been linked to the telephone scam of our U.S. soldiers.

What an idiot. Oh well, that's what I call show biz folks. Yea it's safe all right there Mr. Redford – particularly if you are wealthy and can afford private bodyguards.

Actually, Bob is quite a different person from the bloke of the common man's yoke. He told me how during the height of the Vietnam war, while visiting the Senate in Session on a major vote, he popped his head in and said "Hey, it's me!" and then left, after his famous flash smile. But I was left wondering about his diss of the senate at work, his idea, maybe, his persona was bigger than their issues and I remember a NYT story about a party where the guests were wrapped around Bob until Ted Kennedy showed up, observing the differences "between the power of celebrity and the celebrity of power."Hollywood icon ROBERT REDFORD rips into President Obama, tells him “we can’t wait forever” for things to get better!

FROM THE TABLOIDS: "Despite the fact that Redford was an ardent supporter for Obama during his 2008 White House run, the environmental protection poster boy has gone ballistic on Bam in a blistering HuffPo blog. Redford wrote, "One reason I supported President Obama is because he said we must protect clean air, water and lands. But what good is it to say the right thing unless you act on it? “Like so many others, I'm beginning to wonder just where the man stands." Redford added, "What's going on here? …Putting corporate profits above public health is unconscionable. It's outrageous that it would be countenanced – by this president or any other.
"We have to keep moving forward. This is no time to turn back from the progress we need…. Like so many, I'm waiting for him to stand up for all that. I'm waiting for him to stand up for our future." I've had some personal dealings with Bob, and he's not Redford's Redford, that's for sure.

“But we can't wait forever."
